Falls in long-term care facilities are very common. More than half of all residents fall every year. But many falls can be prevented. Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, student will be able to:

- List who is at risk for trips and falls in a facility.
- Describe what the nurse can do to help prevent trips and falls.
- Explain what to do if a fall occurs.
