HomeTown Health, HCCS, SOWEGA-AHEC, Azalea Health & Gallagher Healthcare are pleased to present a 12-month ICD-10 training program designed for physician offices! This training program will include documentation and coding training for physicians and their staff as well as an implementation training schedule to prepare your office for a successful implementation.
Learning Outcomes: After completing this months webinar, each participant should be able to:
- Recall organizational changes in chapters 3 & 4 of ICD-10-CM.
- Identify documentation requirements based on code mapping within chapters 3 & 4 of ICD-10-CM.
- Develop your top 20 ICD-9-CM crosswalk to ICD-10-CM codes utilizing general equivalency mapping tables.
***Please note that students enrolled in this course will receive 1 AAPC CEU. To receive credit this course must be enrolled in and completed before 11/26/15. When: 12:30 1:30 pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. All webinars will be recorded and available on www.hthu.net/physicianicd10.
Who: Physicians and their office staff to include nurses, managers, coders, and others who will be impacted by the coding transition.
